The Manx Bat Group (MBG) is a dedicated charity that unites volunteers across the Isle of Man who are passionate about the conservation of local bat species. We organise regular meetings focused on bat-related topics and conduct field visits during the summer months. Join us for engaging bat walks to observe these fascinating creatures in their natural habitats around the Island. Our team also conducts bat surveys for properties undergoing planning applications, ensuring the protection of bat habitats. We provide expert advice and information about Manx bats, maintain a comprehensive database of bat and roost records, and offer care and rehabilitation for injured or grounded bats. Additionally, we host educational events to raise awareness about the importance of bats in our ecosystem.
